Reemerging: It is time to come into sight again, to remerge from the constraints the covid pandemic has inflicted upon most of us. How you dress can have a positive affect on you and the people around you.

The days of cutting your own hair and wearing a face mask in public are over in most places and whether you are vaccinated or not shouldn’t impair your ability to spread some positivity when you go outside and live life again.
Feel Comfortable In Your Own Skin

There is not much you can “control” these days. Yet maintaining a certain level of self respect seems to become more important than ever to combat depression and isolation.
It all starts by taking care of yourself, the way you feel and look.

Make sure your physical appearance, including your grooming, is up to par where you feel comfortable in your own skin. You basically want to shine from the inside out.

Layers of Reemerging

The first layer is physical hygiene and grooming – you want to smell good when you enter a room or meet people and your first physical impression should be “positive”.

The 2nd layer is your wardrobe and the way you carry yourself when you are around people.

The important thing here is expressing yourself in an authentic way. It is about letting your personality, wardrobe and physical appearance shine through instead of covering it up with e.g. heavy makeup or plastic surgery “improvements”.

It is not unheard of that people will actually sincerely compliment you when they encounter you.
It may feel strange at first but once you understand it wasn’t blah blah or a way to hit on you then you’ll actually be able to enjoy and appreciate the gesture.

It may even put a smile on your face and light up the room in these trying times.
